Daraga ng Kalumonan 2024 is a concept website designed to help San Agustin showcase the Kalumonan Festival and allow the community to vote via Facebook reactions.

Problem :
At that time, the festival showcased pageant candidates on the municipality’s Facebook page, but there was no dedicated website to centralize the information. To address this and provide a more structured, visually appealing presentation, I decided to create a website concept.
Solution :
I developed a concept website that:
Presents all pageant contestants with photos, names, and barangay representation
Includes call-to-action links directing users to the municipality’s Facebook post to vote via reactions
Provides a clean, modern layout that highlights the festival visually while keeping navigation simple
Demonstrates how the municipality could engage residents online and increase visibility for the event
This concept serves as a prototype for a digital festival presence, showing how the pageant could be promoted and voted on through social media integration.
Challenge :
Designing a concept site that is visually appealing, fair, and easy to use was the main challenge. The layout had to:
Give equal visibility to all contestants
Guide users clearly to vote via Facebook reactions
Showcase the festival while keeping the design simple and intuitive
Since this is a concept, balancing realism with an engaging presentation was key to communicate the idea effectively.
